Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Modas Group Limited, trading as Week1 ("Week1", "we", "our", or "us"). They govern your use of the Week1 website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What Week1 is
Week1 gives solo founders a focused weekly marketing plan: a short set of suggested actions each week, plus a simple way to record what you did and reflect on what worked. The plans are practical guidance to help you make progress. They are suggestions, not professional marketing, legal, financial, or business advice, and we do not guarantee any particular result.
2. Your account
To use the Service you create an account with a valid email address. You must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secure and not share your account.
- Take responsibility for everything that happens under your account.
Tell us at support@week1.io if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Acceptable use
When using Week1, you agree not to:
- Break any law, or infringe anyone else's rights.
- Misuse, disrupt, or try to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content, including the action library, except as the Service normally allows.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law says you may.
- Use the Service to send spam, or to do anything harmful, abusive, or deceptive.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
4. Subscription, free trial, and payment
Week1 is a paid subscription. Current pricing is $25 per month or $250 per year. New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. We ask for a payment method up front, but you are not charged during the trial.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged. Subscriptions then renew automatically each period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel. We will let you know before your trial ends.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Stripe presents the terms that apply to your payment when you check out. We may change our pricing from time to time; if we do, we will give you reasonable notice, and any change applies from your next renewal.
5. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel anytime from your account's billing settings. When you cancel:
- You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for (or until your trial ends, if you cancel during the trial).
- You will not be charged again after that.
Because a free trial lets you try Week1 before paying, we do not offer refunds for the current billing period. If you were charged because of a genuine error on our side, email support@week1.io and we will put it right.
6. Your information and content
You keep ownership of the information you put into Week1, such as your product details, goals, and feedback. You grant us a licence to use that information to operate and improve the Service for you. We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Our intellectual property
Week1, including its name, branding, software, content, and action library, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your account is active and in line with these Terms. These Terms do not give you any other rights in Week1.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update the action library and how plans are generated, as the product evolves.
9. Disclaimers
Week1's plans and suggestions are guidance to help you take action. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including your product, your market, and the effort you put in. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, such as a number of users, customers, or revenue. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent allowed by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Week1 and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we stop offering the Service. If we close your account without cause, we will refund any period you have paid for but not used.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service, except that if you are a consumer you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
